1. | Aims: The subject “Self-care” aims at helping students master and apply the self-care knowledge and skills, raising students’ self-care awareness and abilities, developing a good lifestyle, healthy living habits and self-management in students, enhancing students’ independent living skills and social adaptation skills through home-school cooperation. |

To help students master the basic knowledge, skills and attitude in the following seven areas in order to solve the daily difficulties: | ||

Personal Hygiene: •Learn about the importance of maintaining personal hygiene •Master the basic skills of cleaning and taking care of different parts of the body •Develop the habit and attitude for maintaining a neat and tidy appearance •Promote the self-care skills and establish a good self-image |

Dressing: • Master the skills of putting on different kinds of clothes • Master different types of buttoning skills • Learn about the correct ways of putting on and putting off clothes • Choose the appropriate clothes according to the needs and keep a good appearance |

Eating: •Master the basic eating skills and the skills of using different kinds of eating utensils •Meal preparation and cleaning •Build a good eating habit •Learn about eating etiquette |

Toileting: •Learn to express the need to use the toilet •Master the skills of using the toilet roll and bathroom products. •Learn how to clean oneself after toileting •Build good toileting habits and develop good manners |
